DISABILITY BENEFITS
You will be considered to be disabled under this Plan if you are unable to continue in any active employment and are so certified by a licensed medical Physician and if you are in receipt of long term disability benefits from your Employer program. You will not be considered disabled for Plan purposes if you are in receipt of Workers Compensation benefits.
During the period that you are considered disabled for Plan purposes, you will not have to make your member contributions. Your will continue to earn retirement benefits based on your Earnings immediately prior to your date of disability, except for employees of Morris Industries, Canadian Linen & Plastipak.
